Class Registration Policy
All Class Registrations Must be Pre-Paid unless otherwise pre-arranged.

Asbestos Worker Training
This is a Washington State Approved 32 hour Asbestos Worker Training course (4 days)
Training for asbestos abatement professionals is required under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986 (AHERA), which is the authority under which EPA issued the EPA Asbestos Model Accreditation Plan (MAP) (40 CFR Part 763, Appendix C to Subpart E).
Asbestos Worker Training Refresher Course
This is a Washington State Approved 8 hour Course
Training for asbestos abatement professionals is required under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986 (AHERA), which is the authority under which EPA issued the EPA Asbestos Model Accreditation Plan (MAP) (40 CFR Part 763, Appendix C to Subpart E).
AHERA Building Inspector
This is a EPA Certified 24 hour Course
Revisions in EPA and OSHA regulations now require that all asbestos samples collected from publicly-accessed buildings be collected by an Accredited AHERA Building Inspector. This three-day course satisfies the requirements outlined in the April, 1994 EPA Model Accreditation Plan (MAP) and the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA).
It is required for anyone conducting building surveys for the presence of asbestos-containing materials. This includes industrial hygienists, engineers, architects, property managers, regulator personnel, and environmental consultants.
AHERA Building Inspector Refresher
This four-hour course satisfies the annual re-certification requirement for those who have received AHERA Building Inspector Accreditation.
Asbestos Awareness Training

This Asbestos awareness course satisfies the education requirements for Asbestos Awareness Training under WAC-296-62-07722
This course is transportable.
Class II, III, & IV Asbestos Workers Training Our site or your site.
All buildings built before 1981 are presumed to contain asbestos
Asbestos containing material (ACM) or potential asbestos containing material (PACM) used in the construction of buildings.
- Roofing material and patching compound
- Wallboard and joint compound
- Floor tiles, sheet flooring, and floor tile mastic
- Glues and adhesives
- Acoustic ceiling and wall tiles
- Fire doors
- Transite pipe and board
- Wall and ceiling insulation
- Machine and piping gaskets, vibration cloth, and cooling tower baffles
- Thermal system insulation (TSI) such as cement elbows and pipe wrap
Class II Training
Class II is Ideal for Roofing & Flooring Companies wishing to remove a single ACM material.
OSHA Class II training covers the removal of ACM in non-thermal system insulation, including wallboards, tile and roof shingles. Training covers several concepts, including asbestos recognition, health affects and protective controls. Students learn the content and requirements of the asbestos standard, medical surveillance program requirements, how to read legends on signs and labels, how to post signs and labels. Training requirements include a minimum of eight hours of instruction and hands-on activities. There is no official requirement for the duration of refresher courses.

Class III Training
Class III awareness training teaches repair and maintenance operations in places where ACM or PACM is likely to be found and disturbed. Class III training covers all of the concepts covered in Class II training and includes general asbestos information, health effects of asbestos exposure, location of types of asbestos and asbestos-containing materials, respiratory protection methods and damage recognition. The course duration is 16 hours. The training consists of hands-on and classroom instruction. Workers are required to take annual refresher courses.

Class IV Training
Class IV of OSHA asbestos training is based on cleanup activities. Workers remove dust and waste related to the Class I, II and III activities but do not actually remove asbestos. Class IV training focuses on the recognition of asbestos damage and ways to avoid exposure. The course duration is two hours. Annual refresher courses are required.
